Making The Old Feel New at a Recently Completed Edina Home

In the spirit of the New Year we thought we’d share some photos of a home that we recently completed in which we were able to make the old feel new again. This was a fun and unique project because we were able to reclaim and reuse the exterior stone from the original home; and incorporate it into a stunning, screened porch patio with a two-sided, wood burning fireplace.  It was exciting to be able to use both timber and stone from the original home in the new home.  In the photos below, you can see the exterior of the original home followed by photos of the finished, reclaimed stone on the new home.   Reclaimed is the new “new”!   At REFINED we make it a priority to find ways, with each property, to seamlessly blend the new home into the neighborhood while maintaining the integrity and history of the original home.  These are the little details that might not be obvious to everybody, but are very important to us. Original Home                                                                           New HomeOriginal Edina Home Reclaimed Stone Used for Fireplace    New Edina Home with Reclaimed Timber and Reclaimed Stone
